Nikhil Dhawan is GCP and Azure certified data engineer and interested in bringing down the barriers for entering this highly sought-after field.
He currently works as director of data engineering and ML Ops in dentsu, trying to decrease the costs of marketing meanwhile increasing the reach to target customers. In his previous role he has lead KPMG’s global AI platform to process information within confidential documents.
His passion includes automation of manual processes; from writing helpful shell scripts to building production grade PaaS solution in Azure. He has spent considerable time building and managing various web applications, cloud solution, data pipelines and custom visualisations using many tools available in the market.
I lead the data engineering for dentsu International in Australia. In my previous role, I have spent last five years working in consultancy with teams for building and managing solutions including web applications, cloud solutions, data migrations and pipelines with custom visualizations. Before that I worked in Yahoo, a global tech firm building foundation of my big data skills. My core competencies practiced at work in last few years are listed below.
